Many parts play a factor in making your garage door quieter. Here are few solutions to look into.
Upgrading your hardware such as using nylon rollers instead of steel rollers can help reduce noise because it will eliminate the steel roller on steel tracks friction. Lubricate all of the parts to help reduce squeaking springs, cables, rollers, pulleys, etc. Make sure all of the nuts and bolts are tightly wound. Any rusted hinges, brackets, moving parts, etc should be replaced. The condition and mechanism of your garage door opener should also be looked into. Belt driven garage door openers are much quieter than chain driven openers. If you want a very quiet opener, look into Liftmaster's Side Mount but you need to have a torsion spring system set up for that. It's good to know that we'd inspect a garage door for rusted moving parts. Our garage door started making loud noises last week, and we thought they'd go away in a few days. The sounds are getting louder, so we'll look for a specialist to identify the source of the sound and repair it.

Dealing with a noisy garage door can be such a hassle! I totally relate to the frustration. Have you considered lubricating the hinges and rollers? It might make a big difference in quieting things down. Also, check for any loose parts. Good luck with fixing the noise issue!
